About Founder Ryan Miller

“I realized at a young age that this was what I wanted to do. I was a junior in high school when an older friend, Tony, who was attending Philadelphia University for graphic design, started showing me his projects. That was the moment it all clicked for me. By 2000, I was attending that same program, learning all I could about making a career in the graphic design industry. I hadn’t even applied anywhere else because I already knew exactly what I wanted to do. While there, I won a few design competitions and began the foundation of a strong portfolio. After graduation, I worked for a few years as a designer for a small printshop. After my time there, I became an in-house designer for a construction company. And although I was gaining more experience in the industry, neither of these jobs were the right fit for me. In 2011, I created D.I.C.E Design and never looked back. I wanted to take everything I learned—from lettering boats as a teenager to the new things I discover on the job everyday—to give my clients the highest-quality product with designs that make people stop and stare. This company was a long time in the making and I want D.I.C.E to live up to everything the name means: Design Integrity Creating Excellence.”

Personal Timeline

– Graduated from Philadelphia University in 2006 with a bachelor of science in graphic design communications.

– Worked for a print shop as a designer for printing press.

– Worked as an in-house designer for a construction company.

– Founded D.I.C.E Design in 2011, working for various high-end clients like Wawa, Rita’s Water Ice, Redbull.
